Recently, Goldwind has successfully completed the turbine installation for the Yotsukura Wind Power Project in Japan, and is expected to complete grid connection in the near future. This marks that Goldwind's global business has covered 6 continents and 42 countries, and the global wind power installation has increased to 38 countries.

According to the Japan Wind Power Association, as of the end of June 2022, the installed wind power capacity in Japan has reached 4.7GW. According to the latest version of the “Strategic Energy Plan”, the installed wind power capacity in Japan will exceed 15GW by 2030, highlighting the long-term and stable growth potential of the Japanese market. The Yotsukura project is located in Yotsukura Town, Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, and is developed by Hokutaku, Japan's largest wind power operation and maintenance company. The project uses GW109-2.5MW wind turbine, which obtained the certification certificate issued by ClassNK (Japan Shipbuilding Classification Society) in 2022, making it the first onshore wind turbine in China to receive this certificate. This certification proves that Goldwind's product technology and reliability meet the standards of the Japanese market, ensuring the provision of high-quality and reliable products and services to customers.

Currently, the Yotsukura project has officially obtained the wind farm certification issued by ClassNK (Japan Shipbuilding Classification Society). This certification proves from a design perspective that the units used in the wind farm have environmental adaptability, and can also provide important technical support for local government project approval.

The Japanese wind power market faces both local and international standards, with high market access barriers. Faced with the challenges of tight project schedules, heavy tasks, and low tolerance for errors in execution, the Goldwind team and the Japanese construction unit closely cooperated, formulated a strict construction plan, and ultimately achieved the goal efficiently, winning high praise from customers.

The successful implementation of the Yotsukura project has accumulated valuable experience for Goldwind to deeply understand the strict local standards and certification system requirements in Japan, and further expand the Japanese market. In the future, the company will continue to strengthen its local delivery capabilities, deepen its local business in Japan, and continuously enhance Goldwind's comprehensive influence in Japan and the Asia-Pacific region, making contributions to global green development.
