During the meeting, Premier Li Qiang noted that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the China-Australia Free Trade Agreement (ChAFTA). Over the past decade, economic and trade cooperation between the two nations has demonstrated strong resilience and vitality. Amid the current global economic and trade landscape, it is even more important to deepen China-Australia cooperation. With joint efforts, bilateral collaboration will not only expand in scale but also advance in quality, bringing new opportunities for enterprises in both countries. By working together to accelerate cooperation in clean energy, electric vehicles, and energy storage, Chinese and Australian enterprises can build a world-class green industrial chain that is both resilient and competitive, unleashing significant new momentum for development.

Over the past decade, ChAFTA has played a pivotal role in boosting bilateral economic relations. With stable bilateral ties, business communities on both sides are eager to deepen collaboration. Australia is ready to strengthen dialogue with China and expand cooperation in trade, agriculture, industry, energy resources, and green development to jointly address global challenges such as climate change and safeguard international fairness and free trade.

At the meeting, Goldwind Chairman Wu Gang delivered a keynote speech on "Green Economy and Green Metals Cooperation". He highlighted that Australia is endowed with abundant renewable energy and high-quality mineral resources, while China has mature clean energy technologies and advanced manufacturing capabilities, creating natural complementary advantages in the field of green metallurgy. Goldwind has already partnered with Australian clients on six mining projects in Western Australia, including Kathleen Valley and Tropicana, to integrate wind power, energy storage, and mine power supply systems, ensuring stable energy for mining operations while driving carbon reduction. These projects offer valuable insights for future clean mineral development, including green iron ore, and fully demonstrate the immense potential of synergizing China's new energy technology with Australian resources.
