On July 10, 2019, The Fortune China (http://www.fortunechina.com) released its latest Fortune China 500 List, compiled by Fortune (China) and the Wealth Management of China International Capital Corporation Limited (CICC). The list assesses the business performance and achievements of the biggest Chinese listed companies around the world in 2018. With an operating revenue of more than 28.7 billion yuan and a profit of more than 3.2 billion yuan in 2018, Goldwind entered the Fortune China 500 List again, and its ranking was up from 2017.
According to CICC's analysis, affected by the economic cycle, the traditional real estate and financial sectors had weaker performance in the past year. The new economic sector, consisting of electronics, Internet services and computer-related industries, continued its high growth trend. The number of new economic sector companies on the list increased to 37, whose revenue had an increase of 29% year-on-year. The total operating revenue of companies on the Fortune China 500 List of this year reached 45.5 trillion yuan, up 14.8% over last year and a new high; the net profit reached 3.625 trillion yuan, up 4.21% over last year.
