Goldwind was present at Argentina's Leading Renewable Energy Congress (AIREC 2018), one of the most important events in the sector in the country, which took place in Buenos Aires, between October 22 and 25.
AIREC, in this edition, had more than 700 participants, 175 speakers and 70 exhibitors and with the presence of outstanding leaders of the sector such as Javier Alfredo Iguacel, National Secretary of Energy and Alejandro Valerio Sruoga, President of CAMMESA.
This year, the Regional Center of Goldwind for South America -in coincidence with the start of civil works in the company’s wind farms in Argentina- participated in the event not only as an exhibitor but also as a speaker.
Under the slogan "Palabras que son hechos" (“We walk the talk”) the company showed the progress of the projects executed both in Patagonia and in the Province of Buenos Aires. In this sense, Liang Xuan -General Manager of Goldwind South America- emphasized "the importance of demonstrating with concrete advances the solid presence of Goldwind in the Argentine market and the commitment of the company with the transformation of the energy matrix at regional level".
"We are very pleased to announce that the first shipment of wind turbines arrived this morning at the port of Puerto Madryn". Carolina Rodriguez -Development and Investment Manager of Goldwind Argentina- said during her conference on October 23, in which she commented on the advances and challenges of the projects carried out in the country, as well as the policy developed by the company in relation to local content.
AIREC WEEK offered a great flow of new opportunities, connections and spaces for debate, and in particular an opportunity to make visible the responsible commitment of Goldwind in the execution of the Loma Blanca I, II, III, VI and Miramar projects.
