Goldwind Announces Concluding 5 Projects in Pakistan, Totaling 327MW

Goldwind, a global leader of renewable energy, has successfully installed and commissioned 5 projects in Pakistan with total capacity of 327MW by the end of June 2018. All the projects are located at Jhimpir wind corridor in Sindh province in the east of Karachi.

June 20th, 2018 marked the Commercial Operation Date (COD) of Three Gorges Second Wind Farm & Three Gorges Third Wind Farm (TGS & TGT) upon its completion of a consecutive 168-hour commissioning test. The project with a total capacity of 99MW represents the fifth wind farm in Pakistan that is supplied by Goldwind turbines. Goldwind took one week only to finish EPA grid test and all trouble shooting in 45℃ hot, windy environments. The final availability of TGS &TGT projects during run test is over 99.9%.
