Rattlesnake Project, set up by Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Goldwind") in Texas, US, successfully completed installation of all of its 64 wind turbines. The rows of giant wind turbines can be seen proudly standing on the boundless plain from a long distance.
The team at Rattlesnake Project accomplished its task by working on its long cherished motto — “Be BEST ourselves, do project BEST!”
Following the installation of the first turbine on November 22, 2017, the team was expected to achieve full completion within 3.5 months. Given the tight schedule and heavy workload, the team rescheduled its working hours and stepped up its efforts. As a result, the team members completed the installation at an average speed of 6-7 turbines per week, making it the fastest in all the overseas construction projects undertaken by Goldwind. On March 10, 2018, the first 10 turbines at the Rattlesnake Project were dynamically tuned and grid-connected within one day.
Showing its efficiency, the Rattlesnake project team worked closely with RES, the construction service provider, in a bid to create a positive workplace atmosphere. Speedy installation was not the only factor to be proud of; the team also displayed extraordinary skills of quality installation and project management quality. The team is capable of finishing the entrusted work with high quality in a specified period, without sacrificing either efficiency or quality.
The Rattlesnake Project is the first project undertaken by Goldwind in cooperation with tax investors, and also the largest capacity project completed by the company in the United States. Once operational, the wind turbines are expected to generate 626.9GWh power annually, which will provide localities with green and clean power.
