In April, the Loma Blanca VI wind farm (100MW) invested and built by Goldwind in Argentina has been approved by the Argentine National Electricity Market Management Agency (CAMMESA) and entered the 20 years commercial operation period. So far, all five wind power projects of Goldwind in Argentina have come into commercial operation (COD).

All five wind farms are equipped with GW 3S smart wind turbines, with a total of 109 units and 354.6MW installed capacity. About 1.6 billion kilowatt-hours of clean power will be generated annually after all five projects are put into operation, which will produce stable and continuous green energy to Argentina.

With that large wind power cluster including 5 projects being developed and constructed at the same time, the project team encountered a lot of challenges during the construction. However, through proactive communications with all related parties, and close work with the construction partners, Goldwind team overcome the negative impact especially from the pandemic and achieved the final success of all the projects.

Since the first project from the five had been completed, Goldwind's turbine performance has always been ranked top among the dozens of wind farms in Argentina, which brings the increasing recognition and reputation for the company.

During the construction, cooperated with our partners, Goldwind took strict environment and health protection measures, participated in local community activities actively, and trained a group of wind turbine operation and maintenance professionals. In the future, Goldwind will continue to participate in Argentina's renewable energy development with our advantage and capability of wind power solutions, and support the deepening of China-Argentina cooperation.
