On August 8th, the Goldwind Offshore "ZTT 31" 1,600-ton Jack-up Wind Turbine Installation Platform, which was developed jointly by Goldwind and ZTT Group was, officially delivered in Nantong, Jiangsu Province. Goldwind Offshore “ZTT 31” 1,600-ton Jack-up Wind Turbine Installation Platform is specifically designed to address the challenges posed by offshore wind power and large-size wind turbines. It incorporates advanced offshore platform technology and unit transportation and hoisting technology, working in an integrated manner of "loading+transportation+storage+hoisting". The platform itself measures 139.1 meters in length and 50m meters in width, with the maximum hoisting height of 165 meters above the main deck of the main crane, the maximum hoisting weight of 1,600 tons in the effective working radius, the working water depth of 70 meters and a variable load of 11,000 tons. It is available to hoist offshore wind turbine with a unit capacity of 20MW and impeller diameter over 320m. The platform features the largest variable load of 11,000 tons and deck variable load of 8,000 tons in China. By effectively solving the installation challenges of large MW-level units, it enhances the transportation and storage capacity of more and larger MW-level units. Additionally, it ensures that sufficient safety redundancy is maintained to handle potential risks during operation.
